ABOUT DR. GIRTON
Keith Girton, M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon for BEST Surgery & Therapies with over 30 years of experience helping thousands of patients find relief. At BEST Dr. Girton specializes in minimally invasive spine procedures such as Lumbar Spinal Decompression Surgery or Posterior Cervical Laminotomy, Foraminotomy, or Facetectomy. Dr. Girton was formally educated through a combined program with Otterbein College and Ohio State University completing both BA and MD degrees in six years. He began his career after completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at Ft. Worth Affiliated Hospitals in Ft. Worth, Texas. Dr. Girton completed more than 6,000 minimally invasive outpatient spinal surgeries.
Dr. Girton has a longstanding interest in longevity medicine also known now as integrative or wholistic medicine and routinely provides useful information on nutraceuticals that have been extensively researched and that can often be used in addition to traditional medications or by themselves. He believes that mind, body, and spirit are inseparable and need to be optimized and balanced in order to live the best life possible. Although he is primarily a surgeon, he is committed to his patients to assist them in achieving their best life possible using his full skills and knowledge acquired during his years of being a physician and a surgeon. Dr. Girton and his wife enjoy spending time with friends and traveling.
